Glamping tents at night

Hello October!  Fall is the time of the year when everywhere I look, I’m pleasantly surprised by the pops of color.  If you’ve never visited Nevada City at this time of the year, it’s a great time to take a fall colors walk around town, check out an event or go for a hike along the South Yuba River.  We’ve had many people ask when we’re closing for the season and we’re happy to remind you that our campground is open year round.  If you have an RV or a tent, you can come camping in all seasons – fall, winter, spring or summer.  Although our glamping tents are closed for the winter (December-January-February), there’s still plenty of time to come treat yourself to a night away before the rains set in (it’s going to be almost 80 this weekend!).  So, whether it’s a girls getaway, staycation or family outing, there is still plenty of camping left this fall.  Keep reading for our fall week day glamping special.

For those of your worried about the cooler evenings, just remember that our communal building is a great place to come sit by the fire, cook a meal or play card games with a friend. It’s fully heated and stocked for a relaxing campout…made easy.  If that’s not enough, here are some other great reasons to come camping in Nevada City this October & November.  Also, for those looking for more event information, check out our weekly what’s happening board.

We continue to show kid friendly films on Fridays & Saturdays evenings on our outdoor screen, plus craft time on Saturday afternoons.  We have one more Bear Yuba Land Trust Fireside chats series, where you can come celebrate with other folks who took the 52 Hike Challenge on Wednesday, October 11th.  Finally, the next Folk Trails Hiking Club hike on Thursday, October 12th, starting fro the campground (all welcome).

And for those of you who made it this far, we’re excited to share that we’ve got a mid week glamping tent special, book two or more consecutive nights of glamping Sunday-Thursday and get 25% off your entire visit.  Valid only for new online reservations.

To follow us along, make sure to check out our InstagramFacebook or Twitter feeds, if you’re looking for more local ideas, check out the Visit Nevada City Instagram feed or the Outside Inn’s blog.  Plus, every week I update our weekly events boards on Pinterest.  As always, we love hearing from our campers and look forward to seeing you round the campfire.
