Construction Updates

The Inn Town Campground crew has been hard at work through the hot days of August.  In the last month, we’ve continued our infrastructure construction: building roads, cutting RV spots, installing sewer pipes, preparing the building pads and more.      IMG_5649

As the campground takes shape, Dan has been looking for the perfect place to make a level tent pad in our various tent sites.IMG_5659

Much of the cross-country sewer pipe installation was completed with a directional boring machine.  This allowed us to install the necessary piping without too much impact to the forest. IMG_5661

The sewer pipe was heat welded into 1000 foot sections before being pulled through the bore hole.  This section curved around the campground like a giant snake.FullSizeRender (7)
