Front Desk Clerk
Classification: Full Time
Reports to: Office Manager
Supervises: N/A
Hours: 11am-7pm, Wednesday-Sunday
Salary Range: $16.00-$18.00 hourly rate
The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for guest registration, collecting guest payments, making and confirming guest reservations, maintaining records of reserved/occupied camp sites and available sites, and maintaining cleanliness and appearance of front lobby. Must be 21 years or older.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Greet, register, and direct guests
· Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems
· Report maintenance or equipment problems to appropriate personnel
· Make and confirm reservations
· Sell merchandise
· Understand costs and be able to rent camp sites
· Collect payments for sites, propane sales, fire pits and camp store items
· Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary
· Advise housekeeping staff when glamping tents have been vacated and are ready for cleaning
· Answer inquiries pertaining to services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, entertainment and outdoor recreation
· Clean and maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies
· Occasionally assist housekeeping with bathrooms & kitchen or laundry if available

· Ability to manage your time efficiently with multi-tasking skills
· Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests
· Must maintain a professional manner under stress and have excellent communication skills
· Possess problem solving skills
· Hard working, reliable, honest, friendly
· Experience in outdoor industries and/or hospitality
