COVID-19 Modifications
Be a responsible camper: We always ask campers to observe good campground etiquette, but it’s especially important this year. Aside from following the normal rules, here are some things you can do to keep yourself and others safe:
- Your health & safety is your responsibility, act accordingly.
- Bring your own masks, hand sanitizer, and wipes so you can maintain good hygiene both in camp and out and about.
- Don’t come camping if you or your family are feeling sick. See our modified policy for 2021 to help alleviate some concerns around traveling while sick.
- Wash and sanitize your hands often, remind your kids to do the same.
- Maintain distance from people not in your camping party. Camping is social, just make it socially responsible.
- Don’t congregate in sites. Public health mandates require us to limit site occupants to 1 household or social bubble. Please do not exceed the occupancy of your site, even with campers from another site.
- Wear a mask while in the restroom, camp store or walking around town. Confined spaces can host the greatest concentration of virus, but wearing a mask helps a lot – please do your part to help.
Camp will be much more socially distant. Here are some changes you will notice:
-
- Our camp store will initially be closed until we develop a safe operating plan. Although we will not have “office” hours, we will have staff on site to help in whatever way we can. Check out our new messaging service via CampersApp.
- Communal spaces inside The Commons will be closed for this season, but our dishwashing stations at each bathroom will be open, so please plan and pack you’re your own food prep equipment accordingly.
- Our communal fire pits will also be closed for this season. Fortunately, we still have individual fire pits for rent. The cost is $30 and includes one bottle of propane and a fire pit for the length of your visit.
- The pool will be open, but it will have modified operations to limit capacity. Please follow the guidelines provided at the pool.
- We plan on having movies, but you’ll need to bring your own chair and make sure your group sits at least 6’ apart from others.
- Our ping pong and foosball table will not be available due to high-touch sanitation concerns.
- All of our outdoor walking and hiking spots are still open and provide a great way to be socially distant in nature.
- Check-in and check-out will be outside.
