Nevada City’s November-December Arts & Holiday Calendar | Inn Town Campground

The last of the dogwoods are holding onto a few yellow leaves, mornings call for a second cup of coffee by the fire pit, and Halloween decorations are finally coming down off the porches downtown. October's officially behind us, and what's ahead looks like the busiest stretch of arts and holiday events Nevada City has had in years. Between the Center for the Arts, Miners Foundry, and a holiday market calendar that's denser than usual, this is a good month to grab a site before the good weekends fill in.

The campground stays open year-round, and our heated glamping tents (G20, G21, and Sweetwater) come with in-tent heaters and heated mattress pads for the cold nights. Our canvas safari tents, which also run heated mattress pads, start wrapping up for the season throughout November, so grab one of those spots while they're still open. The Family Yurt, insulated and heated (no dogs allowed in that one), runs all year regardless of season. The camp store stays open for holiday gifts and camp supplies, from Christmas ornaments and Inn Town mugs to marshmallows and ice, with one schedule note: it's closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, so plan any gift or supply runs around those two dates.

If you're building a trip around what's actually happening in town, here's the rundown. Most of the marquee shows live at the Center for the Arts or Miners Foundry, both an easy walk or short drive from camp.

A few other Nevada City and Grass Valley holiday traditions, Cornish Christmas, Victorian Christmas, the Country Christmas Faire, and the MEB Turkey Trot, are still finalizing their 2026 dates as of this writing. Check the Nevada City Chamber, GVDA, Nevada County Fair, and MEB Turkey Trot sites as those get confirmed. For more to do around camp this season, check out our things to do page.

With a craft fair weekend and a concert calendar this packed, November and December fill up fast, both at the box office and at our place. We take reservations up to a year in advance, so if you've got your eye on one of these weekends, book your site now rather than later. Need a last-minute gift for someone who loves camp as much as we do? Gift certificates are an easy stocking stuffer.
