Nevada City is thriving with culture and arts, whether it’s live music, theatrical performance or an art exhibit. MUSIC
For a smaller town, we feel fortunate to have a wide range of music choices all year round. You’ll find live music at nearly every bar, restaurant and corner of Nevada City. Check out Miners Foundry Cultural Center and The Center for the Arts. For some of the smaller venues check out Crazy Horse Saloon, The Fern or The Stone House. Nevada County Concert Band does a great outdoor concert series at Pioneer Park in the summer time. Or check out the Nevada County Fairgrounds for upcoming events and concerts. Downtown Grass Valley offers some great outdoor events, smaller venues and pop up concerts.
ART
Check out Seven Stars Gallery, UBA SEO in downtown Nevada City, ASiF, The Chambers Project or Art Works in Grass Valley. The Nevada City First Friday Art Walk is back, always a great evening out supporting local artists. Or check out the gallery at The Center for the Arts in downtown Grass Valley. THEATRE
