A few snap shots of the weekend, I actually did a A few snap shots of the weekend, I actually did a very poor job of capturing it- but it felt like the campground came out of hibernation and celebrated! What you don’t see (or hear) are the Boy Scouts troop, the 10th birthday celebration with family, a multi generational RV/glamp get together (always impressed with folks who camp with babies), the new-ish to RV lifestyle shakedown, the campers who found us on ChatGPT and loved it, the girlfriends Yurt getaway, the kids stocking up on toys and ice cream…. So, it happened, and sorry I don’t have a photo (or 10) to share, but the energy at camp was delightful and I have so much gratitude. The weather is delightful, come camping!

My favorite spring hike along the South Yuba River My favorite spring hike along the South Yuba River! @southyubariversp offers a great wildflower walk on Saturday and Sunday mornings, 10am. March 7-May 10th, meet at the Buttermilk Bend Trailhead on the north side of the river, Bridgeport in Penn Valley. Reminder there is a charge for parking, unless you have the State Park pass. And please do not pick the wildflowers. 🌺🪻🌼 These photos are from previous years, so stay tuned on how the flowers are blooming this year.
