Folk Trails Hiking Club invites history and nature lovers of all-ages to join them on a walk/hike through historic Nevada City and learn about the Deer Creek Tribute Trail. We’ll learn about the local history and practice our plant and tree identification skills. The hike begins at the Inn Town Campground. Non-campers should park on New Mohawk Road and walk across the street to the campground. Please bring water, snacks if needed, proper footwear, dress in layers and of course, your camera. We’ll be walking during “magic hour” meaning perfect photos! If you have hiked with us before on an Inn Town Campground hike, rest assure this one will be a little different than the others! The hike is free and open to anyone who’s interested in joining.
