WE KNOW LOCAL ADVENTURE
Nevada City is a playground for the outdoor enthusiast and the Inn Campground is passionate about sharing our love for adventures with our guests and locals.
Allow our knowledgeable staff to recommend some of our local favorite spots, whether that’s a mountain bike ride or a walk to Hirschman’s Pond, Deer Creek Tribute Trail or South Yuba Trail along the Wild and Scenic stretch of the South Yuba River.
We can provide suggestions of local cycling loops, mountain bike rides and hiking trails. Or we can suggest a rafting company to take you down the North Yuba or the South Fork of the American Rivers.
During the summer months we know the choice spots on the river to swim and relax for the day. The South Yuba river is one of the top destination in our community. Or we can recommend a good hike in the nearby Tahoe National Forest. If you’re curious about whether you want to combine a river and a lake adventure, check out this map of our local resources.
We’ve put together a round up of our some of our favorite Nevada City hikes, to help with the best kid friendly trails, hikes with dogs and great Nevada County outdoor adventures.
If you’re looking for more information on mountain biking, SUP, rock climbing, swimming and more, so no mater what you want to do while in the Nevada City area, we’ve got ideas and suggestions.
