Folk Trails Hiking Club The stunning fall colors will make for a most beautiful backdrop on this walk through Nevada City’s historic cemeteries. In honor of Day of the Dead we will visit Pioneer Cemetery off of West Broad Street, Pine Grove Cemetery on Red Dog Road and if we are super ambitious we’ll try for the Nevada County Cemeteries near Willow Valley. Each of these cemeteries offer a glimpse into our past; we’ll learn more about some of the individuals who are buried here and pay our respects to those who have come before us.
The walk will is 4+ miles, mostly easy with a few hills. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring plenty of water.
