Q&A with Dan

Erin here, I managed to track down down the busy man Dan.  Hi Dan, thanks for sitting down with me to answer a few questions about the campground project.  Congrats again on the recent use permit approval, but I’m curious to know more about what that means and what’s next?  Why do we have to […]

Inn Town Campground Approval

Hello campers!  We have a long road ahead of us, but we’re excited to say that we passed the Nevada City Planning Commission use permit approval process today.  With this approval we can continue to move forward on the next stage of the development of the property.  We’ve got roads to build, trees to trim, […]

The Waiting Game

My goal was to share the progress of the campground and the journey involved, but as a visually minded person I’ve been struggling on how to show a waiting game.  The application has been submitted to the City and we’re waiting for that process.  Dan’s been plotting trees on a map for a comprehensive tree […]

a trial run

While the Inn Town Campground isn’t open yet, it hasn’t stopped a few family members from taking a trial run.  Good to have a few focus groups to get a feel for the lay of the land.

Engagement Photos

My talented friend Athena used the future campground as a backdrop for some recent engagement photos for Allison & Lucas, you can see the rest of the photos on Athena’s blog, click here.  Fun to see the future campsite through the eyes of someone else.

a long road

Welcome to the Inn Town Campground blog… many of you know me from the Outside Inn’s  popular local blog InnSide Nevada City but this blog is about the campground we’re building, from the ground up and the fun we’re hoping to share with our community once we open.  We have a long road ahead of […]

A Christmas Tree

The Campground isn’t open, but we thought it would be fun to go for a visit and harvest our family Christmas tree.  What I love is that on our way home we drove up Broad Street and 2 different people posted a comment on my Instagram account saying, “I saw you driving up the street.”
